I snapped this photo in the spring of 2010. It reminds me that spring always comes and hope is around the corner. 

I took this panorama of Toledo, Spain while there in 2008 for a Spanish course of study. The city can best be appreciated for its diversity (and crowded buildings) from a distance. 

I took this photograph in the "New Church" in Salamanca, Spain. They built the churches with pillars as tall as possible to symbolize the path to God. 

I snapped this picture of a desert holly, blooming in an otherwise colorless environment, in spring of 2009. 

Spiral staircase in Scotty's Castle at Death Valley. Visitors leave Scotty's castle by this staircase. To capture this image without a tripod or flash in the low light, I placed my camera on the ground and snapped it remotely.
