About 2:00 many morning my cats look out of the window in the back door. It seems that Oslo always sees someone. I look and see nothing. A friend was visiting and we tried to photograph whatever Oslo was seeing. Look through the window on the left ha... 

A storm was coming in. The wind was blowing. The clouds were so beautiful I had to take a photograph. 

The golden dragon is chasing the black pearl of wisdon. The ribbons and swirls adds to the magic.  

Each Spring I would paint these leaves as my students painted them. The foliage was always prettier than the flowers.  

Sparrows would perch on the handrail outside my kitchen window. Below the handrail was the feeder. I loved watching the sparrows and thought that it would make a nice painting. 

The blue beads that I was working with inspired me. It was a challenge to paint the beads.  

The blue ribbon ties all the beads together without being seen much. The pink beads are of the satin variety with sparkle on some. I love hearts and enjoy painting them. The copper background was the most challenging.  

The rose bush was a gift. The rose is breathtaking. I snapped this photograph from the side view capturing the aged wooden planks.  

This jester was painted with features not as exaggerated as my others. The ruffle is the same color as the stones in the cap.  

The jester has feminine quality to the caricature face. The background is a very faint harlequin design with music notes, runes, and swirls surrounding the jester.  

The Indian red stripe carried the ye towards the large nose and eye face. The large lips form a half smile. The red is carried throughout the cap. The blue wings of the cap tops the jester as well as the painting. 

Pink mist is swirling around the lovers. It is about to provide them privacy. Painting this was such a pleasure.  

The simplicity of the center balances the heavy detailed outer parts. One side has twists the other angled lines. All pointed are curled. The two bottom points have an animal face almost.  

The Fleur de Lis is very simple yet the harlequin background balances the Fleur de Lis. The two large half diamonds have a thin sparkle cover.  

Elvis is very shy. He watches me, does not like to be seen. He is so beautiful.
