This is a painting of a section of shoreline near the small French town of Cassis. To me it summarizes all the appeal of this idyllic landscape.

This is a panoramic view of the area I think of as the back side of Venasque, one of the most compelling landscapes I saw in Provence. It was painted on the spot.

This shows a parade in a small in Provence, where children parade a "boogie man" through the streets, hold a trial and convict him of all the wrongs that have occurred in the past year, then burn him in effigy.
