Zaira Dzhaubaeva was born in Cherkessk, Karachay-Cherkessia, Russia.
She began to draw when she was about 2 - 3 years old. Her first drawings, bunnies, dogs and horses, showed the love of nature that presently manifests itself in her paintings.
Zaira studied at the Stavropol State University. There she earned a degree in History and Social Sciences. After graduation she started working at the 'Karachay-Cherkessia' State Broadcasting Company in Cherkessk.
Zaira worked in Television for 10 years. She began her television career as assistant director and finished it as Chief Director of the TV-studio.
Zaira left television to start her career as a professional watercolorist. She started painting watercolors professionally in May 2010. Versed in many styles her favorite themes are flowers and animals. The majority of her paintings are currently in the United States. Some of them are available for purchase in Russia.
