Zach Purcell discovered a passion for photography at Daniel Hand High School in Madison, CT, where he took his first photography class. He began shooting with a Nikon FM3 owned by his mother and used it throughout college at Boston University, where his love for photography grew. Zach lives in Kaneohe on Oahu and shoots mainly still photos throughout the Hawaiian Islands, focusing largely on nature, landscapes and cityscapes. In his free time, Zach enjoys surfing, traveling, and playing baseball and hockey.
