Watercolor artist and artisan, Yvonne hails from northern Ontario, Canada. Living mostly in the Sudbury Region, she spent her vacation time exploring and falling in love with the gorgeous Manitoulin area.
The largest fresh water island in the world, Manitoulin Island is a mecca for those who wish to enrich their knowledge... to experience and absorb true Objibway culture and tradition. It is there that Yvonne's interest, inspitation and love for all things beautiful took root.
Having been taught the fundamentals of craft making by an Ojibway family of artists and artisans, Yvonne has been creating original , unique works for many years
Now living on the shores of Rice Lake, with it's rich Ojibway history and culture, nestled in beautiful Northumberland Hills of Central Ontario, Canada, Yvonne continues to be inspired by the beauty that surrounds her.
As a self taught realist painter, Yvonne also enjoys an up close and personal relationship with her gardens. Armed with her Carl Ziess and tripod, she crawls among her garden blooms and waits patiently for that perfect shot... hoping to capture any one of Mother Natures little creatures that might just happen along.
Adding to her list of preferred art mediums, Yvonne adds free-hand digital art to her passions. Working from high resolution digital images, Yvonne creates personalized free-hand digital portraits for sale.
