My photography delves deeply into the spirit of my subjects, exploring, articulating and celebrating the unique beauty of animals, nature and the urban landscape. A central focus of my work has been my Belgian Shepherd WolfCub, with whom I share a deep spiritual bond. My images have earned him a worldwide collection of admirers who embrace his heroic beauty, grace of movement and mystical spirit. WolfCub is a source of strength and inspiration to me, as well as to his fans, who appreciate his unique qualities and the way the vitality of his character is captured in my photography.
I photograph other dogs, cats and horses with equal passion, so please take some time to have a look around. I also enjoy working with textures as overlays, to give my images a more painterly quality.
You may also be interested in my non-animal subjects, especially my love of the Australian landscape.
I have exhibited in many group shows (see my website for details), was a 2012 Bowness Photography Prize Finalist and won the Photonet Gallery Open Prize for Photography in October 2013. My first solo show titled 'Ways of Seeing: Animal, Urban, Land' was in December 2014.
