WAYNE LE ONE
Artist with diverse roots and diverse art
The art of WAYNE LE ONE reflects his roots, which are Native American, African American as well as European.
He feels at home in painting, dancing, poetry, sculpturing and designing furniture.
Walking on the different paths of art brought him from Louisiana to Oakland, California
where he studied art and finally to Europe.
He lived for half a year in Florence Italy, spent a lot of time while travelling around Europe and while studying the different European styles of art.
He finally decided to settle down in Germany.
His works are inspired by a lot of artists from Van Gogh, de Lempicka, Rembrandt, Michelangelo to Klimt and Picasso as well as Martha Graham.
Amongst some European collectors his works
have also been sold to the
“Völkerkundemuseum“ in Heidelberg
(Museum of Ethnology)
He exhibited in some galleries and with well-known companies, like Daimler, IBM and SAS.
Numerous vernissages and events like Jazz-festivals were enhanced by his paintings.
