Vernita Miller

Mrs. Vernita Miller is a female Bahamian Artist with over twenty-five years of Art experience. She had exhibited her Bahamian artwork in numerous local art shows and galleries in the Bahamas.

Vernita also taught Art at summer camps. She is known for her strong portrayal of Bahamian characters in “every day life”, among other commissioned art work and has spent most of her artistic career as a Freelance Artist; where she obtained a good measure of success. During her high school years, Vernita was highly accomplished in her chosen field of study in Art. She enjoys working with Acrylic paint, on wood, canvas and other surfaces.

Her most successful venture for many years has been in the tourist market. She has been a very successful graphic artist for over ten years now, which has been a refreshing addition to her creative expertise.

Vernita spent much of her time working in the fine arts. Presently she is venturing into the production of her original artwork on wood and decorative mirror frames, which is truly cutting-edge products. Her goal is to present her artwork in a new and innovative way other than the traditional.

Vernita continues to enjoy the support of her family and friends over the many years of her varied Art accomplishments.

Her motto is “God is the Giver of all things... all belongs to Him!”
