I am a student at Governors State University going for a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography and Digital Imaging. I am also a mother of two; Kaleb and Trinity. I have gone through very hard times in my life but have made it through mostly everything. I was very sick for 7 long years but found out today (July 16th, 2013) that I no longer have Sarcoidosis or whatever viral infection that was in my lungs. The doctor is not completely sure if I had Sarcoidosis or if it was a viral infection in my lungs. My son was diagnosed with Autism in 2009. Some days are harder than others. I make it through! I started going to school after I went through counceling for domestic violence issues that I had with my children's father. I was motivated by some of my family and friends but mostly by my councelors and my fiance. I am truly greatful for those who were there for me through my hardest times and helped me get back on my feet. My son has been progressing with a lot of help from everyone in his life. My daughter led me to fine art america when we were looking at pictures on google. I am happy to be part of this community of such wonderfully creative artists and photographers :)
Stick with your dreams...I wanted to be a Photographer long ago but went for other things that didn't make me as happy. As I got older I realized I have always been a Photographer and an Artist, I just needed to take some classes to sharpen my skills to help me advance towards making it my career. Reach high and don't let anyone stop you...Fly away...Don't stop...Just fly.
Just a Note: If my name being on any of my photographs is stopping you from purchasing one let me know and I will take it off. I just want people to know who the photographer or artist is so if you really insist on it being a clean shot without a name, I will do it. I just don't want anyone claiming my work because of it being on the internet. Let me know how I can make it right for you to hang up in your home or business.
