Tyler Auman was born and raised in the rural mountains of Tioga County, Pennsylvania. He relocated to the Philadelphia area in 1996 and received a formal fine arts education and a B.F.A. from Tyler School of Art in 2001. Influenced by expressionism, surrealism and color theory, his art utilizes a rich color palette and structure to engage the viewer.
