True African Art .com is an online contemporary Black African art paintings gallery consisting of over 425 original African paintings for sale by over 55 African artists. We sell mostly originals on our website and own most of our pieces in New York, USA. We obtain 95% of our paintings from the continent of Africa, mostly direct from the artists themselves.
Some of these originals plus all their prints are for sale on Fine Art America. We are in the process of uploading our images but hope to have a more complete collection here soon as we take the time to upload our paintings and add their details.
True African Art .com contains rich content on most of our artist's cultural biographies via written interviews, photographs of the artists, and videos with them. The website is run by me, Gathinja, and I am orignally from Kenya.
