From the age of about 12 I have been a keen photographer.
A cousin and a family friend were both photographers and they encouraged me, as well as helping me with film and paper processing.
At 15 I left school and started work in a busy commercial studio in the centre of London. Most of my work was still life, both in the studio and on location.
The work was varied and very interesting, enabling me to travel all over the U.K. and abroad.
After 45 years I retired from full time professional photography and now concentrate on fine art work and the type of photography that is really close to my heart and which I am passionate about.
I also shoot some stock photography which can be found on Alamy under Trevor Chriss.
