I was born in Reykjavík in the south west part of Iceland in 1980. In 2003 I studied sound engineering at the School of Audio Engineering in london. I also studied and graduated from the Royal Conservatory in the Hague (Netherlands), with a bachelors degree in music in 2010. I have mainly focused on composing music for film and for contemporary dance, in Iceland and in Europe.
Since 2010 I have increasingly focused on oil painting, and on landscape painting in particular. Recently I have however started to enjoy painting still-life and will include it more into my work in the winter season since it is often to cold to paint outside.
