Gallery "Mixed Media by Thomas Woolworth. In this gallery you will find images that maintain a portion of the original photography surrounded by new artwork. The style of these images was released for the first time by me in November of 2014 with the release of the image Thrift Shop Mirror. Additional images from this series started being released in November of 2014. Each image starts out as an original photograph taken during a photo shoot. The initial developing review of the image is very similar to my days of 35mm film processing. All photo shoot images are studied during this initial review for focus, straightness; contrast; lighting; shadows; composition and cropping. The selected image is then adjusted according to the recommendations that were discovered during the initial developing review. After completion of any needed adjustments the image is moved into a Baking Stage were the image will be processed through 36 personally created recipes. Some of these recipes will adjust 12 or more elements of the digital image, others may only adjust 2 or 3 elements. A review of each new image will yield one baked image that stands out from the others. This selected image will then be processed with a selected painting process. An object from the original Photograph is selected and removed from the Photograph. The selected object is then re-inserted into the rendered new Photo Art image. My electronic signature is then added to the new Photo Art. Many times I prefer to color my signature so that it blends into the background. The next stage of maturity for the image moves into matching and attaching Keywords to the new appearance of the Photo Art. The last step in this Modern Digital Art process is the uploading of the image into selected web sites and virtual Art Galleries. The final Photo Art style that you see in these images may have taken up to 3 hours to mature.
