As a frequent visitor to the city of my wife's birth I fell in love with the color, history, atmosphere, and lifestyle of New Orleans. Never has there been one place where an artist can virtually turn any corner for a subject for painting. My subjects for painting are taken primarily from the French Quarter. Thank goodness this wonderful area of New Orleans was spared the travesty of Hurricane Katrina. Sadly the rest of the city still has some years before it will be restored to its former self. I have taken on the task of promoting and recording the wonderful vitality that still beats in the heart of New Orleans, the French Quarter.
