While teaching and coaching sports in Washington DC,Gomillion's artistic career took a back seat.From 1989 to the present, Gomillion has quietly , persistently pursued
his own vision ,never being satisfied to the existence of only one art path for himself.He expresses his art through variety of media including 3d decoupage ,paper
mache sculpture ,color pencil , watercolor , printmaking and acrylic on canvas and paper.In his work the gestures and overall attitude rather than details,are primary
lmportant to him.
A Washington DC native ,Gomillion was raised in the Philadephia area.While growing up he never thought of himself as an artist, but he like drawing most anything he saw.
