I'm a native Californian inspired by the West's hillside oak savannas, coastal vistas and images of local flowers and animals, some with a whimsical touch. I paint in both acrylics and watercolor using a warm palette and lots of color and have won a number of awards for my work. I studied fine arts at Sacramento City and Alan Hancock Colleges and in community settings with local artist instructors.
