I have been painting in oils for 40 years. I worked in pastels for awhile. For the last 17 years, I have been doing portraits, and have done some china painting. I also do some sculpture. My paintings now are done with oils on canvas and include scenes in the French Quarter and various other subjects. I am 68 years old, married, and have two daughters and two grandchildren. My painting is realistic and sometimes a little impressionistic. I am self taught for the most part, having had one seminar with Daniel Greene, which gave me the tools to paint a portrait. I love painting and can't imagine life without this passion for art.
