A world without art is like a world without light. My passion in life is to create photographic paintings, and I hope to convey inspiration with my colorful images.
When I was given a Brownie Box camera at the age of nine, I quickly learned that photography is a means to capture one moment in time.
Through the years I slowly upgraded my camera equipment and dreamt of someday making my photographs look like paintings. With the emergence of digital cameras and computer software programs my beloved collection of manual SLR Nikon cameras and lenses were retired and most everything was donated to the Sierra College Photography Department.
My work has been exhibited and sold primarily in Northern California since the 1980s. During my journey from black and white and color photography, I have accumulated a list of exhibitions and awards too long to mention on this page.
In 2011, I moved from the West Coast to New England to start a new life by helping my spouse take care of her aging parents. I believe in giving something back to my community by way of volunteering as a member of the Agawam Lions Club.
