Once upon a time, I was a ballet dancer. I danced for several years until I had a career ending injury. And then I became a director and choreographer but those opportunities are hit or miss and ever fluctuating. I needed something I had some actual control over. And so I picked up a camera and started doing self-portraits...and loved it. It was mine and I could do whatever I wanted to my image, play whatever role I wanted to play and just created my own little worlds.
