About Sol Luckman

Sol Luckman is a prolific visual artist and innovator in the field of ink painting who also happens to be an internationally acclaimed author of fiction (BEGINNER'S LUKE, SNOOZE) and nonfiction (CONSCIOUS HEALING, POTENTIATE YOUR DNA).

With artistic influences ranging from the Southwestern expressionism of John DePuy and Dan Namingha, to the colorist works of Wolf Kahn, to the stain paintings of Helen Frankenthaler, Luckman's atmospheric work remains strikingly original and cutting-edge.

In his bold, colorful compositions, he is committed, first and foremost, to exploring and depicting energy. His vision of the world is deeply shamanic, as a place not wholly solid, but informed by a kinetic vibrancy that is fundamentally conscious.

His intention is for viewers to see this universe of intelligent energy in his paintings, as objects condition space with their essence, and vice versa, and the outside conflates with the inside because All Is One.
