I was fortunate to have grown up in the Mississippi Delta along with three sisters, and to have been surrounded by so much of God's wonderful creation: gorgeous magnolia, cypress, birch, and mimosa trees, cotton fields, the mighty Mississippi River, climbing vines, and all the beautiful Delta flowers and birds. My love for the natural Delta beauty has greatly influenced my artwork.
My paintings are done in colorful acrylics, part smooth and part textured; I call my style 'expressive impressions'. Most are done on deep gallery wrapped canvases with the sides painted to match.
My 'Ceramics in Bloom Pottery' is made from the highest quality stoneware clay. Each piece is glazed with lead-free, non-toxic glazes, and fired around 2200 degrees for a durable and beautiful finish.
