Born in the United States and raised partly in the orient as a child, Seay is mostly known for her award winning vocals and compositions in music. Her album, 'A Winter Blessing' was named a top 30 album of the last decade in the World New Age genre. Influenced by her father's interest in the arts, Seay began painting and experimenting with silkscreening and photography in her early teens, which led to a scholarship at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC. She later attended London's prestigious Sotheby's Institute receiving her graduate degree in Decorative Arts , while studying voice and singing demos, for publishers and performing in clubs in London's local music scene. 'Music and Art have always gone hand in hand for me, I am very influenced by visuals, sounds, and the natural world, I think everything has a story to tell and a message. Seay's art work can be found in notable private collections. Her retrospective look at music's pioneers 'The Power of Sound' which explores the innovators and icons of music has been seen at Universal Music, The Songwriters Guild, The Nashville Jazz Workshop and The CBS Special 'Swtiched Up'. Seay creates in mixed media, using photography, silk screening, and whatever else comes to mind .
