My photographs pay tribute to George Hurrell and Old Hollywood. I particularly enjoy taking portraits that seem to make old fashioned movie stars out of contemporary, everyday people. I am more interested in having people play dress up with their identities than using a camera as an instrument to record who someone appears to be in everyday life. I think how they 'dress up' and 'play act' can be far more revealing.
