Save the Cape, Inc., is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation established to foster responsible and sustainable growth in the lower Cape Fear region, protecting and enhancing this most sensitive local and national resource for use and enjoyment by current and future generations of people and the other creatures with whom we share it. Some of the State's best artists and photographers are showcased here to help Save the Cape raise funds to develop and promote a new State park at the Cape Fear. Cindy Piper is mother of 3 boys and lives on Oak Island NC often shooting her photos there. Cindy found herself working on her art after a car accident and health issues 20 years ago and has been creating ever since. She is inspired by nature and colors and the sky and her love of the ocean. She has an unusual style of digitally "painting" her photo's until it makes her smile. The bright colors are not only an attempt to cheer others...but a celebration of life!
