Sabrina Zhou was born in Chongqing, China in 1974. She received her BFA from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, China in 1998, her MFA from Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts, China in 2001, her second MFA from University of Calgary, Canada in 2003.
