Robert Karg

Photography is my way of accessing the inner artist I think lies inside all of us. I am drawn primarily to Landscapes and Wildlife though my imagination sometimes goes to what I call 'The Whimsy'. Livng in Canmore, AB I am surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.

My goal is to share my perspective and show the familar in different ways. 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder' - a phrase we have heard many times. I hope viewing my images inspires you to see the beauty in your own surroundings and to share your vision with the world. I would love to hear your story! Until we are able to share please consider hanging some of my world inside yours.

In my blog I will share with you the 'behind the lens' of what went into the making of the images so check back often.

I share my world most closely with my wife Kathy, our 5 great kids, one darling granddaughter and a Miniature Schnauzer named Max who believes his grunts and purrings are speech. Together we make a fun-loving pack. For those interested in academics, I hold a B.A in Honours Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and by career I am a licensed Real Estate Associate. If I had my druthers I would spend my days travelling the world and writing... but for now it will have to be done in snippets.
