Jake

This gallery is a perfect sample of what I do when I'm not painting. I met Jake at the gym. We talked several times, superficial at first. Then we got to the subject of our occupations. When he reviewed my work and showed interest in the photography, I invited him to consider creating his own artwork by being in front of the camera. Many more conversations ensued with depth and meaning.This is the result. We both got to enjoy the art. And I got to learn that there is so much more to appreciate in a resilient, kind, interesting, mature man just in his early twenties. What a gift.
