In an interview with an experienced model, I was taken with the abundance of tattoos. Many figurative artists find them distracting to the natural form. I have always enjoyed the artwork, especially behind the camera. As the conversation progressed I was inspired to shoot a study away from the safe environment of the studio and shoot in the public domain...not so safe. The contrast then would be the risk of the outdoor shoot with the vulnerability of the nude model. Some settings allowed us only seconds, some a few minutes.
