Richard Claraval's drawings have been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the eastern United States. Among his honors, he won a Juror's Award, and a Purchase Award at the 2010 Associated Artist's Annual Exhibition, at the Carnegie Museum of Art. He has had two solo installations at The Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. A charcoal drawing, Pollock Not Paintings by Mr. Claraval won a juror's award at the 2012 Associate Artists exhibition, Void, Absent, Empty at Panza Gallery. Mr. Claraval's artworks are in collections throughout western Pennsylvania. He received a bachelors degree in Art from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, in 1977.
