It's about renewal, learning to see again in the grinding everyday world. 'Familiarity breeds contempt', the saying goes, -unfamiliar perspectives regenerate our sense of beauty...
The great thing about abstracts is that the final act of interpretation lies with the viewer, creating a very personal relationship with the image based on their emotional state.
And they do look good on a wall too.
