Hello there,
For me painting is about wanting to share something simple but wonderful that might have been overlooked. I am interested in the way a view can evoke an experience. That translation from life to image intrigues me and this is enhanced by contemplation of what the viewer will bring to their experience of my work. I love to paint, my first choice is oil and then acrylics. I was born in eastern KY when I was a child my mother moved to upstate NY. Currently I live near the beautiful waters of Lake Ontario. I earned a BA in art studio and hold a masters in education.
