Carousel Horses

Carousel horses have been a favorite of mine to photograph for many years. I first found some old antique horses in Paris. I photographed them and completely forgot about them. Then again I was in Paris and photographed the carousel at the base of Sacre Coure, It is titled Parisian Carousel Horse in this gallery. That was the really the beginning of my collecting carousel horse images. I found the images of the old antique horses that I had photographed in Paris. I photographed carousels in Washington DC, Miami, Avignon France, Los Angeles County Fair and surprisingly I learned of Lourinda Bray, right here in Pasadena. IN her Running Horse Studio she collects and restores carousel horses. What a find!
