Renata Castilho

BIO ENGLISH


Arrives in Paris with her family when she was sixteen. She lives there for 10 years, then studies the Creation of Jewelry, and then becomes a jewelry designer. Shortly after she startes producing and creating artistic works. Much of her knowledge is based on the self-taught. Renata is involved at the time, in the fashion field, under the influence of her mother. Using her art and knowledge to work in this area, she began creating accessories, illustrating magazines and catalogs. She is interested in the publishing field and at the age of twenty-six, she was offered the position of Artistic Director in an advertising agency in Sao Paulo.
Renata becomes by her experience: a fashion illustrator, jewelry designer, an art director, furniture designer , painter and sculptor ... In 2000, Renata began to expose her art work in the United States. She also writes articles for magazines as correspondent. Besides she becomes an art coordinator in special events for large corporations. Renata then moves to Chicago to work in a large mural project and artistic decoration related to the architectural design of up-scale restaurants. Renata won the poetry prize of the American Poetry Association in 2006. In 2007 she went to Italy ,more precised Bologna, and remains there for two years. She leaves Italy and goes to France. Since December 2011 she has been living and working in Paris

Renata arriva a Parigi con la sua famiglia quando aveva sedici anni. Vive li per dieci anni, studia la creazione di gioielli, per diventare una designer. Poco dopo inizia a produrre e creare opere artistiche. Gran parte della sua conoscenza si basa sulla sua capacità autodidatta. Renata è coinvolta poi, nel campo della moda, sotto l'influenza di sua madre. Usando l’arte e le conoscenze per lavorare in questo settore, cominciata a creare accessori e ad illustrare riviste e cataloghi. Lei passa a interessarsi al settore editoriale e, all'età di ventisei anni, diventa Direttrice di arte in un'agenzia di pubblicità a Sao Paulo.Con la sua esperienza Renata diventa : illustratore di moda, designer di gioielli, direttrice d’arte, designer di mobili, pittore e scultore ... Nel 2000, Renata comincia a esporre le sue opere d'arte negli Stati Uniti. Lei pure scrive articoli per riviste come corrispondente. Diventa, la coordinatrice d'arte in eventi speciali per aziende di grandi dimensioni. Renata poi si sposta a Chicago dove lavora ad un progetto per creazione di grandi murali e nella decolorazione artistica tramite progettazione architettonica per ristoranti di alto livello. Nel 2006, vince il premio di poesia della American Poetry Association. Nel 2007 trasloca per vivere in Italia, più precisamente, Bologna, e li rimane per due anni. Lascia l'Italia e se ne va in Francia. Dal dicembre 2011 vive e lavora a Parigi

Arrive à Paris avec sa famille quand elle a seize ans. Elle y réside pendant 10 ans, étudiant ensuite la Création et le Dessin de Bijoux/Joaillerie. 
Peu de temps après elle commence à produire et créer des œuvres artistiques. Une grande partie de sa connaissance se base sur l’autodidactie. Renata s’implique alors dans le domaine de la mode sous l'influence de sa mère. Utilisant sa connaissance de l'art pour travailler dans ce secteur, elle se met à la création d’accessoires, et se lance dans l'illustration de catalogues et magazines. 
Elle s’intéresse à présent à la publication et à l'âge de vingt-six ans, on lui propose le poste de Directrice artistique dans une agence de publicité de Sao Paulo. Renata devient par expérience une : l'Illustratrice de Mode, Designer de Bijoux, Directrice d’Art, Designer de Meubles, Peintre et Sculpteur... 
En 2000, Renata commence à faire connaître son art aux Etats-Unis. Elle écrit aussi des articles pour des magazines comme correspondante et coordinatrice artistique dans le domaine évènementiel pour de grandes sociétés. 
Renata se déplace ensuite à Chicago pour participer à un grand projet de peinture murale et de décoration artistique. Cela concerne alors, la conception architecturale de restaurants haut gamme. 
Renata gagne le prix de poésie de l’ American Poetry Association en 2006. 
En 2007, elle part en Italie, à Bologne, et y reste 2 ans. Depuis Décembre 2011 elle vit à Paris
