I am a lover of the ah ha moment; striving to capture that split second of life before it's gone forever. Yes, that speaks mostly to the human condition, but not always. There's an expression that 'the same man never crosses the same river twice.' In other words, even that landscape you're looking at will not be the same a moment from now.
Throughout most of my adult life I have loved taking photographs. While making a living doing other things, I kept my photography separate and selective; shooting when the subject or circumstance intrigued me. Children launched me, sporting events sustained me and God's nature fed my love for my cameras.
So now, two children and five grandchildren later finds me wanting to share that 'frozen slice of life.' Not long ago someone said to me, 'I can't tell you how that picture made me feel.' I smiled inwardly and said to myself, you don't have to.
