Welcome to my galleries! My photographic interests are in nature, wildlife, travel, culture, science and technology. I am also interested in graphics/digital art. This is very much a work in progress and I will add more images as time permits, so please check back often.
Large prints of photos in my galleries would be great wall art for your home, business and board room. In addition to prints available here through FAA, the images are also available for rights-managed licensing to authors, publishers and magazine editors (please e-mail me through the 'contact' link above).
My wife Lisa and I are outdoor enthusiasts living in Southern California. We enjoy being outdoors in nature - there is not much else we'd rather be doing. We love being surrounded by spring wildflowers in central California and the California desert, by colorful aspens in autumn in the Sierra-Nevada high country, and by oak trees just barely visible through early morning fog in central California. We enjoy having sand between our toes anywhere along California's coast, exploring mountains near our home such as the San Gabriel and the Santa Monica Mountains, and listening to and watching birds at dawn as they scurry around for food in our backyard. We also enjoy exploring local urban wildlife areas and botanical gardens. Once in a while we like to head out on back-roads, with camera in bag and images in mind. The photos displayed here are a fraction of our captures during these activities. I also have a growing collection of 'travel and cultural' photos in my archives. Many of my photos were captured with the able assistance of my wife, who is my near-constant companion, photo assistant and photo scout.
I hope you find the photos soothing and healing, just like I felt while capturing them. In a world filled with conflict and turmoil, I wish you peace, harmony and tranquility.
