I began my photographic career way back in 1980 after having a keen interest in photography as a hobby.
I learnt not by going to college or university but by assisting various photographers over a period of 5 years.
I then took the plunge into my own London studio in 1985 and along with another photographer built a very successful photography PR business.
This led me into the world of national press and magazines and saw me very quickly published worldwide.
During this period I found himself photographing many celebrities from the world of film TV and music and being invited to photograph such events as Cannes film Festival and MTV awards on a regular basis.
The highlight of this period was being placed on the Royal Rota, which led to many visits to The Palace to photograph Royalty meeting various Heads of State.
In 1995 I began working with Channel 4 as a stills photographer and spent 6 very enjoyable years photographing shows such as Big Breakfast, Big Brother and the Graham Norton show.
In 2001 my wife Debbie and I decided a slower pace of life was in order and have now moved to the Peak District where I now spend my time indulging my passion for Travel Photography some of which you see here today.
