If we were capable to remember our lives from the very beginning, my Bio would start something like 'Before I was born...'. However, being that it is not possible (at least, not for me) I can say that since I can remember I wanted to draw and paint. I was always volunteering at my school to do any art projects and murals. I was in heaven.
Through the years, life happened, and art became a long forgotten talent. I didn't get married or had kids, but I had to pay bills and had to have fun (which I did plenty, so I am not complaining.. heehee)
It wasn't until my thirties that I got the itch to take an art class. It had been years since I was surrounded by art supplies, so you can imagine how I felt at the Art Store (it was like being high! I mean, adrenaline high, of course). After that, I took a few more classes, won few awards and got hooked to the feeling when creating new pieces. But, it took me 10 years to gather the focus, discipline and courage to follow my dreams.
Now, here I am! I finally quit my day job to do what I love. I am Painting, learning and enjoying the process. It is a humbling experience to see all the many talents and beautiful art from other Artists. They inspire me and fuel my imagination and desire to go on! I am grateful for every moment of my Life!
