Born in Cuba in 1949, Miguel grow up in Guayaquil, Ecuador where he attended the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil, where he earned a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning. When he began his studies, he discovered his passion for the visual arts; in particular, painting. Soon, he had his first professional exhibition.
