Award-winning artist Michael Gillespie holds the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (With Honors) from the University of Texas at Austin, and has studied with a number of noted artists, including Daniel Greene and Ramon Kelly. He has undertaken three art museum study trips to Europe. Reproductions of his illustration work has sold worldwide, and he has received commissions from such companies as IBM and Exxon, the Texas Ranger Museum, Scottish Rite Hospital, as well as from many private individuals. A Pastel Society of America Scholarship Award Winner, he is also a former President of the Pastel Society of the Southwest. With degrees in art and church music, he currently serves as an adjunct faculty member of fine art at Dallas Baptist University.
