I have been photographing since the age of eight. My father took me down to the rail yards near our house in Burlington, Wisconsin, and handed my one of his old cameras and said, go at it! No direction, just let me develop my own eye.
As I have gotten older, I have found my comfort zone. Mostly photographing the mountains of the American West. I love to hike and 'capture' my experience.
However, I also love walking throughout the cities in which I have lived and 'capture' my experience as well. You may recognize Seattle and Los Angeles in my work.
And of course, you will see photographs of my daughter, Parker, sprinkled throughout. She's my favorite subject.
I love capturing the moments of my life and hope that you enjoy them as well.
