New River Gorge Bridge
The New River Gorge National River was established in 1978, and its 70,000 acres spans 53 miles from Hinton, WV to Hawks Nest State Park One of the most famous landmarks in the park is the New River Gorge Bridge. The bridge has the longest steel arch span in the Western Hemisphere, and is 876 feet high.
