Coming soon...Marveta Anderson Foutch was born in Cheyenne, Okla. She is the middle child of 5 girls. Though she was very creative at a very young age , she was not able to fill her dreams to paint until after her youngest child entered school. She had a chance to take some art class, and after just a few lessons she began to sell her pieces of art, Today her work can be found through out the World in private collections. She moved to Calif. at the age of 12 and her memories of the ocean as a child have always influenced her desire to paint the waves which she now captures on canvas. She excels in different subject matters such as landscape, seascape and florals. She has moved from coast to coast and finds beauty of a different nature where ever she is, from barns to seascapes. She has been greatly inspired by the plantations homes, and the flowers that over flow the hillsides, the sunsets and the mighty sea that only the hand of God can control. Her work clearly shows her passion for her art and her meticulous attention to detail makes her artwork immediately recognizable.Marveta only works in oils, and has been teaching for over 30 years. Between playing with her grandchildren and fishing she still finds her quiet moments to paint. Marveta has received many awards throughout her career including Best of Show 2 years in a row for the state of Arkansas
Currently her work is in 17 gift shop and galleries in Hawaii.,galleries in Searcy,and Heber Springs Arkansas.
