My first 'true' photograph was taken with a friend's Nikon EM 35mm, deep in the hills of southeastern Minnesota. It was a moment of such significance that sixteen years later, I'm still passionate about photography.
While I am very proud of the professional work I've done - everything from magazine spreads to social documentaries - I mainly take photographs because...well, I love taking photographs.
I strive to take my work to new levels every time I turn on my camera, trying to see the world a little differently, to find that new perspective. I feel incredibly lucky to have found my passion and to live a life that allows me to explore it.
