I have been hooked on photography since age six when my grandmother, returning from a trip to Egypt, passed on her well-traveled Kodak Brownie camera as well as her wanderlust.   A travel, editorial and fine art photographer by profession, my images seek to shine a light on the reality around me and to evoke an emotional response.   My work has been shown in galleries throughout the New York metropolitan area, including at the Museum of the City of New York and hang in the collections of private, institutional and corporate collectors.   They have been published in Smithsonian and Coastal Living...more

Sold on Fine Art America

Many of my photos hang in individual and institutional collections, including the logo image which is in the collection of Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, NY as well as in the collection of a buyer here from Manassas, VA. Many grace the pages of books, magazines, calendars, but this gallery only includes those that I have sold here, mostly as prints, but a few have were printed on items such as cards, phone cases, mugs, and masks, lending a unique image to these everyday objects. Thanks to all the Fine Art America patrons who have purchased my work. I hope my photographs bring you many many years of happiness. As you click into the gallery, you will see the crew up in the rigging of the American tall ship the US Coast Guard cutter Eagle. This was my first sale here, to a woman whose husband served on the ship in his youth. Two others were bought by people connected to the US Coast Guard crewmen in my photograph Honor Guard. I love when collectors have such a personal connection to my photography. I really enjoy hearing from you, so please email me through the site or contact me through my personal site https://www.campyphotos.com if you would like me to know why you chose a particular image. Art does not need to simply hang on a wall. It can be sent to someone you care about as a card or even add a personal touch to the back of an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy phone case, or these days, to a face mask. My husband currently has a Galaxy case with that same tall ship. I opted for one of my popular Maine lighthouses on my iPhone (and I bought myself a couple of masks with my floral illustrations that others also seem to think make a good mask design).
