Despite early aspirations for an art career, practicality prevailed leading to an extended and fulfilling career in occupational therapy. While largely self-taught, my work has been exhibited in juried shows and exhibitions. The painting of the Bloodroot was included in an award winning book: �Oakridge�s Moraine, Connecting with Nature�, Artists preserving the Moraine with Paint (2008).

Painting in a more realistic style appeals to me focussed on the world around us: the natural world, architecture and people engaged in activities of daily living. I enjoy working in various media including watercolour,coloured pencil, pastel, pen & and ink and acrylic.
