In 1972 after taking the emphatic advice from an Indian palm reader, I began my career in art. The airbrush quickly became my tool of choice. I also make art with pastels and porcelain.

Doing art appeals to my conscience; it is honest, can be enjoyable and no one gets hurt. Making art allows me to invent a happy life, gives me something to give and teaches me to always explore.

Spiritual Symbolism and Nature are my infinite sources of inspiration. I use pure colors for their healing qualities. I am drawn to circles because of their perfect endlessness.

My hope is to illuminate some of life�s beautiful truths.

In 2000 I co- founded Youth Arts Collective in Monterey with fellow artist, Meg Biddle. YAC is an after school art studio and mentoring program for 14-22 year old visual artists. It is my calling to teach what I have learned and care for the young. YAC is a colorful complete circle of commitment and community. It provides safe harbor and an incubator for young creatives and their invention of happy lives.
