Canadian by birth, Lucie Bilodeau now lives in Massachusetts, where she paints full-time.
She is a professional and internationally renowned artist who has been painting since 1982.
Her interest in art started at the age of 7. At 14, she became a student of Mission: Renaissance School in Montreal, Canada, to be taught the traditional fine art skills.
By the age of 23, she had won 8 national and 2 international awards in visual art competitions.
Among the many shows to Lucie's credit is the Women in Art exhibit at the Key West Art and Historical Museum. She has been feature in fine art market guides. Additionally, she has appeared in many art magazines.
Lucie paints without any limitations as to her choice of subjects, from still life and landscapes to portraits and spiritual works, though she admits a strong preference for wildlife.
Since 1990, many of her works have been published as prints, fine art limited editions, greeting cards, puzzles, decorative tiles, counted cross-stitch designs, calendars, and many other products by different publishers and companies, including Sagebrush Fine Art, Pumpernickel Press, Evergreen Enterprises, Leanin'Tree, Mega Brand America, Bits and Pieces, Sunsout and Pine Ridge Art.
Many of Ms. Bilodeau's works hang in private collections around the globe. She has been represented by fine art galleries since 1989.
