Louise is a published photographer who has been photographing flowers, landscapes, & animals for many years. She won the 2010 Best Tulip award for her work on 'Reaching for the Heavens', a wonderful piece in yellow tulips during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
Louise is also a painter who paints primarily from her photos. Louise shows at several shows throughout the year in Western WA. Her work is found during the annual month long Skagit Valley Tulip Festival in April at the J&L Art Show held at the Skagit Valley Winery on the Memorial Hwy. She shows at many other shows during the year and her web site has her current shows listed @ http://home.comcast.net/~lsmagno/. Her work can be found year round at the Art Market Co-Op Gallery in Bellingham.
Louise is a member of the Skagit Artists Together, Whatcom Art Guild, and the Allied Arts of Whatcom County. Louise has her Bachelor of Science degree with City University with a major in Business, and minors in Project Management and Computing Science Computer Graphics. Louise also holds her Masters certification in Project Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.

Her goal is to capture moments in time and share her unique perspective of the beauty that surrounds us. Her passions are God, photography, painting, gardening, traveling & family. She makes her home in the Great NW with her cat Dillon. Her sons are grown with families of their own which has provided lots of grandchildren, love & laughter.
